The aftermath of flying through a sun.
Kigan: *tiptoes sheepishly into Cureall's apartment very late one night... he's lit up like a Christmas tree and looks like a mech shaped being of pure light*
Chichi: *peeks over edge of flowerpot* :|
Cureall: *murmurs in her sleep and rolls over*
Kigan: *peeks through the door to her room and tries very hard to tone down the light... but it doesn't work very well.*
Chichi: .... B|
Cureall: *optics unshutter and flutter open, glowing bright blue in the darkness* Mm?
Chichi: *SCOLD SCOLD SCOLD HARANGUE!!!!!*
Kigan: *flash of guilt and dismay* Meep! Shhhh!
Chichi: *full steam ahead!*
Cureall: *sits up and stares at the bright lights and the arguing* Kigan?!
Kigan: *wince... quite dismay* I didn't want to wake you.
Chichi: *SCOLD!*
Cureall:*gets up and goes to cuddle against him* Are you okay? What happened?
Kigan: *flinches back nervously, but then lets her* I went through a sun.
Chichi: ...... *curls up over her nest again, pausing to bite her mate*
Cureall: *gasps and backs up from him to look him over* Why on..What can this one do to help?
Baby Ratchet: *squawks and licks Chichi in return*
Chichi: *mollified and now sleepy*
Kigan: *very much sheepish* I'm not hurt... I'm just overcharged. And I can't think where to dump the extra.
Cureall: *walks closer to him* Maybe if you calmed down you could figure it out?
Kigan: I was calm till I blew out the Nexus sign.... *more sheepish*
Cureall: *frown, much frown.* How much do you have extra? Would you like to give it to this one?
Kigan: *shakes his head with a tiny thrill of alarm* It might hurt you. I'm fine... I just can't shift shape right now.
Cureall: *worryworry* This one is sure she will still have trouble resting. Can she stay up with you? *comes close to cuddle with him*
Kigan: *praying as he gently puts his arms around her, and is relieved to see that nothing unusual happens. That he can see.* I can go somewhere else. *Puts his arms around her and grows slightly so that he can rest his cheek on her head.*
Cureall: *optics glow a little brighter but she is otherwise unscathed. She shakes her head.* No...this one would still be worried.
Kigan: *gently rubs her back, emoting reassurance* I'm fine. This is just my natural form. ...You've seen it before.
Cureall: *nods* When you were hurt...that is why this one is fearful. *She sighs and rests her head on his chest* Do what you think is right. I love you all the same.
Kigan: *lets her feel a little of his feeling for her* I just don't want to keep you up. I know you need your down time.
Cureall: If this one promises to sleep, will you stay? *she sighs again* She will just shut off her optics to your light.
Kigan: I can stay in this room... if you close the door I shouldn't bother you. *tentative query, is this acceptable?*
Cureall: *sighs and nods* Yes that will be fine she supposes. *kisses him* Rest well.
Kigan: *softly, as he returns the kiss* But it's not what you want.
Cureall: *nods and holds him close* I'd rather have you next to me. *blinks and blushes slightly* Just lay next to me! That is all!
Kigan: *looks toward the couch, where they've slept before* Alright.
Cureall: *smiles and takes his hands to lead him over to rest with her* Love you.
Kigan: *once more emotes his feeling for her as he follows*
